My Story
It started in my final year of dental college. I was sitting with my friends one evening, all of us struggling with the same topic โ flipping through textbooks that made everything feel more complicated than it needed to be. I thought: there has to be a better way to explain this. So I pulled out my Samsung Note 2, propped it up, and started recording โ using the S Pen to sketch out diagrams and talk through the concept the way I would to a friend sitting right next to me.
There was no studio, no ring light, no high-speed internet. The connection was patchy, the uploads took forever, and the setup was about as basic as it gets. But the passion โ that was unmatched. I just wanted to help someone. I uploaded those first videos on YouTube with zero expectations, hoping that maybe somewhere, a student searching for the same answers would stumble across them and feel a little less lost.
I had absolutely no idea what was coming.

The comments started coming in. One student wrote that she understood in 10 minutes what she had been struggling with for three days. Another wrote that my videos were among the most important contributors to his passing. Students from India, the Gulf, Philippines, and beyond were all finding the same thing โ that dentistry, when explained the right way, is not that hard. It just needs the right teacher.
Those messages changed everything for me. I realised this was no longer just about helping my friends around me โ there were thousands of dental students across the world who needed the same kind of clear, warm, student-friendly teaching I was trying to create. And so Dr. Teeth Academy grew โ not from a business plan, but from a genuine desire to make dentistry accessible to every single student who needed it.
I am a Prosthodontist and Implantologist by qualification, having completed my MDS from India. When I appeared for the INBDE, I achieved a GPA of 4.0 in the Educational Credential Evaluation (ECE) for both my BDS and MDS โ which was one of the most validating moments of my academic journey. But the learning never stops. I am constantly upgrading my own skills, staying current with the latest in dental science and education, all while continuing this journey of helping other dentists reach their goals. That is what drives me every single day.
Every concept in dentistry can be understood โ not just memorised. If a student is struggling, the problem is never the student. It's the explanation. My job, and the job of every educator at Dr. Teeth Academy, is to find the right one.
The Journey
